Jian Ping Ho

Lead Therapist
Physiotherapist

  • Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Hons)

Jian Ping Ho graduated from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) with First Class Honours. She has since worked in a variety of settings as a physiotherapist in Perth and Sydney, including general private practice, hospital, community physiotherapy and aged care homes. She has been working at The Hands Physio since 2020.

Jian Ping developed a keen interest in hand therapy during her university days learning how to make upper limb splints and casts. Working in various rehabilitation settings after graduation has further cemented her passion in helping her patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be work, sport or anything that is important to them. She thoroughly enjoys the intricacies and variety of working in hand therapy; no two injuries are the same.

Jian Ping particularly enjoys staying up to date with the latest in hand therapy research and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for her patients. She regularly completes courses and additional training to further develop her skills as a hand therapist. She takes pride in providing an individualised and evidence-based approach to helping her patients achieve their goals. She works closely with GPs, orthopaedic surgeons and other relevant parties to assist her patients to recover and achieve their goals.

Jian Ping’s main areas of interest include managing sporting injuries, fractures, post-operative rehabilitation and workplace injuries. Growing up in Singapore and Malaysia means that she is also multilingual and is fluent in English, Mandarin, conversational Cantonese and Malay. She is always up for a good chat.

Outside of work you’ll find Jian Ping spending quality time with her young family and trying different recipes in the kitchen. She also enjoys a good reformer Pilates workout and going on walks with her daughter. In her spare time she also does some painting and dabbles in various craft projects.
